The Highway Art Group supports everyONEcounts - May 2013

The everyONEcounts Campaign is certainly heating up.

Recently one of our members Ana Pereira de Vlieg and artist-friend (and keen e1c participator) Zelda Davidson represented the everyONEcounts team at the bubbling meeting of Highway Artists.

Ana's enthusiasm and the plight against human trafficking inspired many to pledge their names as commitment to "makeArt AGAINST human trafficking".

The demonstrator of the morning was Sharon McClelland, Durban's printmaker who kindly offered for works to be handed into her at her studio above the ArtSpace Gallery. Officially works can be posted to us or if you are in Durban, it can be handed into the KZNSA.

Curator Lee Garakara, also took heart over the cause and has offered for flyers to be handed out to his students at Pietermaritzburg University where he teaches Fine Art.
